Catalysts — events you can calendar, not hopes

The street's pitch template asks for catalysts: the events that would surface the value the thesis describes. The honest version of that section is stricter than the street's: a catalyst you can put in a pitch carries a date, and its outcome lands in future filed or official evidence you could later check.

Below are four candidate catalysts. Select the genuine ones, and say what disqualifies the rest. One class of candidate is excluded from this product outright — anything phrased as where the price should go — and that exclusion is part of the lesson.

Two tests, both required: a date you could put in a calendar, and future evidence — a filing or an official release — that will record the outcome. A sentiment shift has neither. A price expectation is a prediction, and an analyst's pitch here never makes one.

Your answerFour candidate catalysts for a pitch on this company. Select each one that is a GENUINE catalyst — a dated event whose outcome future filed or official evidence will record — and say in one line what disqualifies the ones you leave out.
